Save your prayers for the mother of sickness
Hide your face as to hide all your weaknesses
Save a tear for the path of the liars
Cut the truth from the honorable silence
Try to destroy the sign of the holy crux
Giving up on the Christian lost cause
Do you want to burn the cross of thorns
Or take it home, make it ever yours?
Speak a lie to the Angel of Darkness
Bow your head as your soul withers away
Hide the Jaguars head inside your smile
The bloodied tracks lead to where your conscious died
Pray to gurus, pray to Peters cross
Believe you’re found, do you know what’s lost
You speak my name, d’you know who I am
I am god, I am devil, I am man
Hear a scream from the iron maiden
Was it your hand pushed the coffin shut?
Exorcised for your dreamless walking
Or are the answers within the sleep talking
Digging six feet down I see your face
This burial ground, your resting place
Tried to sip from the unholy grail
You signed the scroll and now your soul’s for sale
Whoever led you down my garden path?
Scream a little louder it makes me laugh
Say your final prayer to the forgotten lord
For one last look around before I close the door
You’re not getting out. You’re forever mine
Speak my name again. Jaguar smile!
Ah, the adoration of the hunters; serve you kings, not your lord. Did you know you can be killed for the truth, and that truth is perception? So be careful how you perceive the world, language, loss, hatred, love…
I wonder, but I believe you would find ‘Beyond the Sacred Page’ a most provoking book, it addresses many a topic you … “just happen” to mention. Religion is curious, and how it links in with law even more interesting, because…it hardly does. Law cannot capture God, imprison him. Truth lives, and lives beyond what has been died for.
On you writing, I like it. I didn’t fully agree, and honestly, it even scared me a little. On presentation, make the s in smile capital. Interesting read.
