I sit- me the sitting duck,
Alone in my store with you.
    You're all black,
    gargantuan,
    with the wife beater shirts
    and loaded with attitude.
    A cell phone, of course,
    and 2 of your homies.
    All with red bandannas.
    (I think that's "Bloods"-Yipe!)
    Your forcefullness
    and loud crude words
    pierce my hastily assembled armor,
    reminding me good and loud.
    that I'm white.
    And oh, so temporary.

the way i understand this, and please correct me if i am wrong, is the discomfort, and confrontation that quite a few coloured people lay upon us because of our (lack of) colour.
we get a lot of this in australia, but then it gets confusing along the way, becasue the government gets into trouble for trying to stop it (and the poliece too)

this piece was fairly easy to read, and the lines flow well.

out of interest, what does a wife beaters shirt look like?

Be kind, take a few minutes to review the hard work of others <3
It means a lot to them, as it does to you.
