    Description:
I was just in a weird mood, realizing something that pushed me as a kid. I think this is somewhat haphazard but try to look through the words. Feel the blood lust drive a man can feel when backed into a corner

Headon into futility, the drive spurs devine
A obsession for victory, the enemy overwhelms
Forgone self protection, his will is steeled
Drive to accomplish, admonish no failure

When all is lost what drives a man?
Guile, Guile, the fuel of despondancy
For that which is in all of us distinguishes
A leader from follower, one who will win
Who's will is charismatic and compells

An obstacle, a barrier, the prison of defeat
Fires his push, fuels his nerve
    No barrier is complete
    Cannot extinguish the guile
    Headon into glory

Wow. And you are absolutely right, the world does indeed adore those with charisma and victory in their hearts. And we are never quite content with whatever we do have. This is well-written, but I was a bit confused at some of your vocabulary- despondancy, for instance. Nevertheless, a good work, and keep it up.
