    Fighting, struggling
A wall, tall, combing the clouds
    Thorns consuming it
    What's on the other side?
    Love is my only strength

Trying to fight my way in
    The wall offers no door
    Punching kicking
    No mark, no scratch
    Thorns pushing into my flesh

    Hands dripping my liquid life
    feeding the ground
    causing more thorns to grow
The one I love is on the other side
But she will not show me the way in

    Sweat and blood mix
    Falling, falling, falling
On the ground, trying to go on
    Thorns lusting for more
    Thorns growing growing

Thorns pushing their way through me
    Till I'm in the air
hanging by the skin of my back
No strength No sight of the one I love
I close my eyes and sleep

    I'm sorry I couldn't make it
    I'm sorry I couldn't find the door
I'm sorry you didn't want me in
    I'm so very sorry
