Yet another angry poem

unto our children, the constraints are imposed
this illusion of safety is packaged & sold
the ignorance in Innocence is slowly exposed
incarcerated by this life with no chance for parole

We define our reality by the thoughts we conceive
we are raped by a medium we are taught to believe
slight of hand, you cant understand, what you cant see
your told how to live, then your told that your free....

A network of lies is commercialized
"how you should look"
As your perceptions become desensitized
"how you should feel"
As our youth become demoralized
"who you should be"
Bullshit is sold at a higher price
and we buy and buy and buy....

The product of our wants
manufactured into need (greed)
Now watch the leeches feed

Distraction is our new found religion
They have commanded, and you listen
If It's all in your mind, how could you escape such a prison
a slave to the system, a pawn in submission

But no matter how far you manage to jump from this cliff
you will forever be falling for a life that just doesn't exist

They monopolize on our trust
"who you should love"
Take until there is nothing left
"how you should live"
until free-will is a distant memory
"who should you be"
A one minded society, now repeat
obey me, obey me, obey me.....

The product of confusion
manufactured into belief (Bleed)
And now the leeches feed.....

This is a definite break from habitual ranting and ravings of Elite Skills.
You definitely have a revitalizing approach with your terminology.
It demands its reader’s attention with such ferociousness, it’s astounding.
A stunning follow-up from the first.

I definitely intend on keeping an eye out your work.

AHHHHH! Omg. Ok...AHHH! Your vocabulary. You're like my freaking HERO today, man! I tell you.

*Jumps around excited for a while.*

I'm not even going to like....do anything bad to this piece. Just fix a typo or two.

The only one I see is leaches. That should be leeches. But, hey. It was so awesome. I'm definitely going to have to check out more of your work. I love the way you use words. It's so refreshing.
