The sands shift beneath my feet as I race toward solid ground and your arms. The road is obscured, the lines are blurred as Venus and Mars are at war. Your eyes beseech me to throw you a life line of verbs. I have nothing but textures and colors. I need you to hold a cloud surround me with waterfalls. To hear my voice in the winds and join me. I can’t be a mathematical equation with a formula, clear and simple. Be a feather or a dream And learn to shift with me |

I don't get to read this kind of poetry here often. Goes to my favourites. Keep it up, you're good. | | Posted on 2006-09-09 00:00:00 | by Porcelaine | [ Reply to This ] | lovely indeed. this is my kind of poetry..metaphorical..it just livens up a poetry. | interesting use of metaphors. | Posted on 2006-09-08 00:00:00 | by vedanta19 | [ Reply to This ] | |
