dots** In the Veil of Darkness:Part 3dots

My words jumped quickly back in my throat, as out of the corner of my eye, an unidentified flying object appeared. A flying slayer, this has to be a joke. However, to my surprise, there was no joke, for as the slaughterer approached the window, I say, with my own two eyes, that this thing was hovering just above the window ledge.
Words began flying out of his mouth as he spotted me standing there, open mouthed I suppose. Words spoken of a tongue, other than my own, whipped through my ears and through my brain. I didnít know what hit me. The instant I closed my eyes to try to comprehend what was happening, the slayer was at my side with a splash of holy water.
Oh, how my face began to burn. My head began to spin, next thing I knew it, my head had hit the barren floor, and my mind was racing onto another world, much like my dream. Where past friends reunited and hugged, but at the same time mourned for their lost love ones down in the planet of mortals.
I suppose the young lad that made me immortal, got a high reputation in the real world. I thank him, greatly, because now my soul rests in a better place. I can roam freely without worrying a soul. I am forever grateful of the great thing that one slayer did for me, and may I rest in peace forever more.

Hmm, interesting twist. The vampire wanted to die? Didn't even try to fight back? Yet, in part II spoke of fearing the slaying. Now it seems to relish it. Hmm.

    *Pondering this*

Fear before death in the act of suicide? That's what it made me think of. Someone wants to die, commits suicide, and there at the end are said to regret and want to live. Sadly the majority of them die. But, this vampire shared perhaps something in comment? Fear yet want?

*Probably went too deep into analysis*
