Looking up at the night sky,
He said "I love you" one more time.
She looked at him once again,
But this time,
A promise in her eye kept his heart from breaking, without a sigh.
As they walked further and further into the night
Her mind was cleared of all the fright.
The waves sound a constant murmur
Her eyes stare at him in a deep fervor.
The night grew cold,
Her curfew had passed.
They got in her car,
She pressed on the gas.
They got to his house
And had their last kiss
Then she looked at him with a glance of bliss.
She told him I love you once more
In hopes that his lips were not in a lour.
