I.
She screamed, throwing the glass across the room, and smiled as it shattered. There was another glass that was broken at her hand in place of the one on her wall.
‘ You stupid woman. Just torturing yourself needlessly. All you need to do is listen to me.’
“ No.” She shook her head. “ Hell no. You’re the reason I’m in here. You told me to kill him.” She screamed, laughing to herself. “ Why won’t you ever go away and just die?”
‘Because I am apart of you. How do you kill apart of yourself?’
“ I’ll get help.”
Again that woman in the mirror smiled. ‘ They all think you’re crazy. Why would you tell them something like that?’
“ I’ll break you.” She whispered.
‘And allow me the control you so desperately desired, but is too damn weak to go after it.’
“ I am not. I...mean…I don’t want it. You’re evil. I hate you, die!”
‘ Oh, tsk, tsk, that won’t so now will it? You don’t hate me, you hate yourself for relying on me. For knowing it’s me that can take it, that can kill, that can completely relish in the victory.’
She covered her ears, grasping her hair as well trying to block her words. “ No, I don’t enjoy the kills. They…oh god, how could you?”
‘I’m heartless. I enjoy there screams. Don’t you?’
She panted for air. “ Yes, I mean no!”
Another laugh filled her cell. ‘ I know you do, because I do.’
“ I’m nothing like you.”
‘ Are you trying to convince me or yourself? You’re right though, you should be the one in this mirror.’
“ No, oh, god no.” She looked around the cell wildly.
‘ I will break you.’
