Hey. This is a real rough copy. I found is scribbled in one of my notebooks, and I thought it was half decent. I'm going to work on it, but here it is so far.

    dots**Heaven's Doordots

One day, when the world shall end
We'll all be lost in space
    Looking for the Haven above
    Saying our final grace.

When the Earth says good bye
    Where shall we go?
    To Singapore of Hong Kong,
    Or knocking on Heaven's door?

When the sun is turned off
    Will anyone survive?
Will the whales in the ocean die?
    How will we thrive?

    One thing I do know
    Is that I'll meet you
    At Heaven's door.

      This is a strong write
I Loved the ending as I believe we who have done what God has asked of us which is only to reach out with your Heart and help those who are still in need of Help will go to Heaven and experience Eternal Life
You word this well and you ask many questions which we will never know the answer to in this Life but which we surely will find out in the after life
I have a very strong belief in God and In Heaven
And I believe strongly that all living breathing creatures are a creation of Gods so therefore all Living creatures will wind up in Heaven
One thing that a lot of people disagree with me on but which I find very true
Is there is a reason God Created Nature and Animals before he created Humans
That true statement alone tells me they are going to Heaven as well
    God Bless
    Your Friend

not bad, the imagery is really nice. It could be a bit longer but the theme is well done.

There are some interesting concepts which hint at an afterlife through a humanistic lens. After all, if you believe in Heaven, then that would indicate a belief in the supernatural. If that were true, then one would probably not be too terribly worried about what whales would be doing, since that individual would be meeting God.

On the other hand, if you don't believe in God and the world ends, you are probably even less conserned about what happens next because you probably subscribe to the "when you're dead, there is nothing else" crowd.

I think the piece would be more sound choosing one course or the other.

    Keep at it!
