Trying to keep secrets,
Divided by schools,
Nicknames became code names,
And we hid our life from others,
We would meet at the middle,
Steal money and hide,
Out at the look out,
Down by the water,
We would say silly things,
And act so close, and you would do silly things
I think just to hear my laugh,
Which you always got and smile at that.
We tried to keep it a secret,
I was scared of what people would think,
You tried to loosen things up,
But I was tight up about the secret life.
Giving up in silence I always got my way,
But I wonder what people would have thought,
If I had told them anyway. |
