    dotsEaves and Handcuffsdots

the squeaks spilling out of the unguarded corners
of an old house on a lane
where you broke a wheel on your
    tricycle when you were four
    i'd turn around
if my feet weren't bound at the ankles
    novacain dripping into my toes
a numb feeling that droops my eyes
    and clouds my mind
    i'd run back to you
    if i had will to
if the rocks tied to my ankles
    were any less assimilated
    if it wasn't your fault
i was locked here, to socialize
    among the empty eaves
the converse with the cold banister
the chat with the broken chandalier
to fall down the double staircase
and find myself back at the top again

I really think this is a great write...its exactly the kind of poem i like not happy and rainbows but not a suicidal kind of thing like most of my writes are. I really like the imagery you used and i can really feel the anger. The message you're trying to get across isn't right out in the open...you have to think about it a little and i like that...
