My sister has this schizpohrenia. It just continues to get worse. Acute phsycosis every three months. Pot makes this even harder to deal with. She smokes it and it puts her into even a deeper level of crazy. If anyone claims marijuana is harmless, read about chronic smokers, They become crazy from the use. It is fact. Read about it. Stay away from all drugs they all kill in one way or another. My sister is dying inside her own brain.

I have no idea where the infection has come from.

Although I have a suspicion that is was
hauled through a long line of genetics.
Predispositions and therories like that.

Although "they" like to dable in the beggining.
it really does not matter to us.
The ones who suffer the consequence,
the wrath.

A disease that spreads like frost.
Never satisfied untill every inch of every
surface is completly covered.
Leaving us cold enough to shiver but not freeze.

I think I would rather be chilled to the bone.
Numb
Oblivious to the power of it.

It crawls through the trenches.
Waiting
Infiltrating everything in it's wake.

Confuses

Dominates

Knowing does not make this better.
Knowing of it hinders us.
Knowledge becomes the enemy,
because knowing proves hopeless.

The infection can't leave.
It will trickle down to every generation,
afflicting the children of my children.

And there is nothing we can do to save them.

Yeah, just like many things, over abundance of things isn't always good. I wonder if your sister is one of those people that think the pot is her "medicine" and the only thing she has found that allows her to "deal", ya know?

You have a good write here, I am glad you re-injected this part of humanity to the young and not so young here at ES. Seems you've gotten a bunch of views on it and no comments though. How sad.
