These are three Haiku that I wrote. All of them involve the desert because that Is were I grew up.

Roadrunner Philosophy

I run fast with heart
perk up with sweet attention
As Life flows my way

Cactus love

prickly pear’s heart bleeds
the sweet pulp turns to jelly
sticky on my mouth

Jumping cactus Promise

long arms promise love
Wraps you up nice and toasty
as it steals your blood

I like these three little pieces.

Expecially the third one.

Haikus are so prone to being objective, yet if you use the proper words to describe the subject, you can use that objectivity to contrast with the bias held within.

It's like using the limited space in a haiku to hold an even longer more elaborate idea/feeling.
