    -------------------------------------------

    To Whom it May Concern:

    I'm sorry.
For the hurt, pain, lies, the drama.
    Everything.
We should have quit while we were ahead
if all of our problems could've been solved in bed.
(We would have had a great relationship.)

I'm sorry I hurt you publicly
but I was swept into a moment so lovely.
    I'm glad this happened,
    our relationship had to end.

There are no regrets for the last year and a half,
life is too short for all of that.
So I will back off and give you some space,
maybe someday you will want to see my face.

    I love you
and wish you the best in all that you do
no one can judge what lies between me and you.
Who would have thought the love of two pices
would turn into a pile of feces.

    love,
    me

This poem showed maturity. That you didn't sit and cry after the break-up and if you did then you picked yourself up and learned from it. I can relate to the lines:
There are no regrets for the last year and a half,
life is too short for all of that.
So I will back off and give you some space,
maybe someday you will want to see my face.

    I love you

Yah, me and my ex kinda had this going on. So...excellent job. *Applauds*

WOW, this is exactly how I feel right now with my gf.

That is two of the best Stanzas I have read, they are truthful, patent yet longing...Love it

I'm really feeling these lines as I've just escaped from a sex driven relationship.
    Good poem !

oh this is just awesomeness, unabated. the cheeky style suits the way you write to a TEE! and although there is seriousness within the piece, i absolutely adore the way you state something serious, then thumb your nose at it by stating the near ridiculous.

the lines 'We should have quit while we were ahead/
if all of our problems could've been solved in bed./(We would have had a great relationship.)' makes me giggle with delight. and you should be proud, considering i don't giggle often. but it's so damn true!!!! often the most sexually satisfying relationships are the ones where you can't stand each other unless you're... well... you know.

awesome read, it's going as one of my favorites!
