    dotsmy brick in the walldots

    I look at her.
    She is so distant,
    Severed from humanity.

    I gaze at chalkboard
    bible of my education
    words of thought.

    I watch the dicator,
    teacher of the Bible,
    scriber of the truths.

    I sit in this prison,
    cold brick walls replace
    steele metal bars.

I am labled with a number,
    that is my identity,
    how my score.

    I scream in silence
    conformed souls.
    marching in the uniforms,
    faceless students.

    I peer at him,
    he is silent,
    just like us all.

mmm so true. love the pink floyd reference too. ive always thought of how much school has me chained down and how different i act in school. I really like how you incorporated images assoc. with government and religion which are very important aspects of the conflicts that arise with the educational system. My favorite part though is the beginning and the end and their what im gonna call 'jigsaw parallelism'. they sound the same but are sort of different and use their differences to fit together like....a jigsaw....o0o0o. and its sort of puzzling....haha. just for that id say its one of my fav poems of yours. nice work.
