The world, my friends, my enemy, you and the Earth
Who am I?
Better yet, who are you?
Are you my enemy? My friend?
I’m not yet sure who I am
But I know I’m the man who is not yet a man
In between boy and man I’m not yet sure what to call my self
The silent screams in my dreams wear on me
Dreams of the apocalypse, dreams of the future, dreams of me
In a world with so many problems, how can I be worse?
How could you mine enemy be worse?
How can I not contribute to the world’s ignorance?
With all the pain in my future, how can I dream?
I call for my heavenly release, but the man up there sends me broken dreams and empty promises
High above my strife and struggle and calls down
“On the day of days you will join me I have foreseen it my child”
How I scream up at him and my words echo and are not returned
I am stuck in a world without pity, convictions and definitely without morals
How am I to become a true and great person?
I am no great human, just a sub-par dreamer with a sub-par dream
Who are you?
