I never knew I had

Before me stands a likeness but it can’t be you

I fell for the girl who laughed at my jokes
Cries at my sorrows when I speak of them
Loved me for who I was
Maybe we have both changed
Both stopped smiling
Both lost the spark
And both fallen from love
But how can this be
My feelings are still there
Every time I stare at your photo’s
I lose myself for hours
Lost in your eyes and in your smile
Memories of our love flood back
But it’s different when you are there
I can’t stall my anger
I can’t hide my suffering anymore

But where does all the water go
