Those Three Little Words

Love is symbolized by a rose because neither one will last
Love is just a hopeless thought until the day we pass
It gives us something to wish for
something that we all want
something that we look forward too
something that we're taught

To love another till death do us part
Is to say I love you then break their heart

Those three words are like a sin
we don't mean it but we say it
only those three words will break a heart
and a sin can be forgiven

We say it like we mean it
but the love is never there
Those words that don't come easy
that we say without a care

We never take it seriously
it's just a made-up dream
everyone wants it
but it's to far away it seems

And when someone thinks they have it
it's never really there
it's impossible to really have
like breathing without air

But we just don't get it
we think it will happen to all
those three little words we want to hear
is just the last step before we fall

And as we wait to hear these words
our lives are kept on pause
those three little words we want to here
is just our mislead thoughts

I have to say that this was good, but not as good as the other posts i have read. I agree that you need to substitute in some stronger descriptive words, but you also need to cut out some of the wordiness.

I thought this poem was very good. To make it better you could fix a couple grammatical errors, and maybe substitute in some of the stronger words in place of the weaker ones.
