Bravery can come in a teasing instant,
When you finally believe that everything will come out okay.
And finally you ask that one simple thing of someone,
Or maybe not so simple,
But it should have been so…
Surprise!
It’s not!
And it’s not the answer you thought
Would remain at the end of the conversation.
But you cannot cry,
You cannot weep,
For it Buries itself in your heart and burrows deep,
Deep into the glowing,
Fading spot of your soul.
And you wonder:
When will you have the weakness in you?
The weakness that burns the tears in your eyes,
And brings you to cry?
When will you have the weakness
To cry?
An instant of gratification,
One moment of feeling you haven’t lost.
The feeling that you haven’t been too late,
And forsaken everything…
It comes at to great a cost, I guess,
To find that final moment,
When everything is right…
So you know it’s not gone for good.
And you wonder to yourself,
When will you have the strength in you?
To strength that burns the tears in your eyes,
And brings you to cry?
When will you have the strength
To cry?
