I have kinda a online lover sorta not really. we say I love you act flirty in games and I act like an idiot in them 'running away' with another man. I'm gonna make another one maybe.

Waiting for the hour difference to pass,
Starting at the wide screen,
Holding the aim open,
Waiting for him to log in,
He is only a key stroke away,
On the other side of the states,
Half the time I’m missing him,
The other I’m wondering where he is.
Dose ‘I love you’ still mean the same?
When it appears on liquid crystal,
Can there possibly be love,
When you can’t see, touch or touch them,
Can you love some one that you can only see in games,
mmorp's are our dating ground if we ever really had one.
Is it possible to love some one thru a cable,
Thru a key board can you really confess how much you love some one,
Or is that just the way things are now,
With game, speed , and phone dating,
Is this really all that odd,
The fact that I still love some one,
That is a key stroke away.

  Even this medium (the poets' forum) has an insidious? way of connecting one to another. Yet, is the 16 year old truly 16 - or 13, or maybe 23 0r 33??? Is the oldster (me) really 73 or am I 80 or 60? Nobody knows and because of this we must just take the ideas and mull over them and conclude about the spirit of the person and enjoy to talk about their poetry.
All of this is unique to our century - the penpal in days of old was the nearest any of us then came to "guessing" about or "loving" distant unknown others.
This poem is a cry I suppose and it is nicely expressed - don't get "head over heels" though!

  To say the truth, it's although strange to me, but I .. somewhat meet alot of people but somehow meet them in reality, in another sense that is. I love everyone to those who lvoes me, I care for everyone. You're actually the first one I've ever talked to in such a peaceful manner, and in reality, I'm careful. To me, everyone, no matter distance, time, or anything else, I would care for them, even if I cannot see them from eye to eye, but I'd like to hold you if we ever did meet up.

  I've experienced this before. Mine faded away after a couple of weeks and I never heard from him again. It doesn't hurt but maybe I was naive. Well I hope everything goes well with you.
