Description: Im freezing and spent last night in an a mess of sorts. And my two friends were laying there on a matress in an unfinished basement and i was thinking about writing this because it made sense at the time. If you want to read it and actually feel something more than usual then its suppoesed to be listened to with "the past and pending" by the shins. i also jacked a line from the song for effective use of music and copyright infringment. But im still cold, and i thought last night was good. song can be downloaded here ---> http://withoutsound.com/noise/audio/indie-love/16%20The%20Past%20and%20Pending.mp3
News from the night -------------------------------------------
Under the lights were we slept so sweetly?
Clutching our jackets and our fingers
Because freezing was okay but being warm was better
How the frosted grass tangled up in our eyes
Growing on our brows, sweating and curling into sleep
Into the slowly descending feeling of highs and wintertime
But then we can see, how you pointed out slowly that
So many trains have ran by with our hands glued to our sides
Cough and twitch from the news on your face
that the sun doesn’t really burn us that bright
It’s really the moon that makes us what we are
.
If we stitch our eyes to each others
Then we can see the same sky and feel the same night
So we all said don’t move, its getting warmer.
Since were building up a story to form into crime
And our breaths are turning into song, because
When we thread out our lives and look at our past
Were not that important, it’s just the people who finally drive us home.
if i ever become a righteous muse, i'll introduce you to all my lovers. mkay? the second stanza made me feel everything. it'd be great if that was what i felt. i'm listening to the song.(actually, it's over, i'm listening to pressed in a book, and you're right, i like the shins too.) this is a start, you know. so, it's not personal or purely honest, but we're getting there. and group sex can mean just as much right now. or something else. incase you see this first, look outside, it's snowing.
