Hello Again

Verse 1:
it's been such a long time
since i felt the heat of his body
and his fingers on my skin
maybe that's why i felt so awkward
as his lips met my own
and i can't explain how
but i feel more alone now
than i ever did before

and as i look into his eyes
one last time before i turn to walk away
i feel everything click into place
before falling apart all over again
and i have cried no tears
cause he told me to hold them in
as i make my way home
i wonder if there will ever be
really one last time

Verse 2:
it's been such a long time
since i tasted his sweet skin, and i
felt his body pressed against mine
maybe that's why i felt so awkward
in that sacred moment
and i can't explain how
i'm keeping myself together
i'm falling apart inside

Verse 3:
it's been such a long time
since i could love you in front of them
because you are with someone else
maybe that's why i felt so awkward
as he took me in his arms
andi can't explain how
i keep holding on when i know
one day this whole thing must end

hello again
it's been such a long time
since i was yours and you
were mine

1: >_<
2: I dunno...
3: meh!
4: Pretty cool
5: Wow!

Hey, I think the coda is pretty cool! The rest of the song though seemed pretty typical...and don't we all struggle with that? You know, like there are only so many ways to describe how you long for a loved one, etc. But everyone feels that their situation is special...different...and maybe they all are.
I don't mean for this to sound like it was bad, after all, I've always kind of considered lyrics to be really bad poetry. But with the right melody, I feel that most things can work.
