She rides along on her horse of the sea.
The sun beating down on the coral reef.
She rides like lightening through the ocean deep.
The fish tell her secrets that she will keep.
She makes friends with all the ocean world.
She's not yet a woman; but still not a girl.
When upon her seahorse, the colors are all swirled.
When beneath the ocean, her life becomes unfurled.
The only time she takes a break,
Is when she watches the turtles wake.
And when the floor begins to shake,
It's only the whales. No earthquake. |
