    Even in my late age,
I find myself lost in fantasy.
My mind wonders into other worlds.
    Some times even other lives.
Every once in awhile I wish
I could be in my dream,
and live it like it was now.
    I could be the hero,
    or even a single person
just to live threw the days
of the past or the future.
Then with a sigh of regret
    I return to reality.

that's sad, I know what you mean tho..I'm pretty sure most people feel this way from time to time, life is so depressing and even when you're happy it can be rather boring and routine...I think that's a good trait to have as a writer though, the ability to dream; even if it makes having to come back to reality all the more depressing. but I like to think of it this way....writing, it's like being that hero...or bringing that fantasy world to someone else sometimes, if I can write something that gives someone a reaction they needed or wanted to have than i"ve done a good job ya know? I liked this write ,
    take care,
