A passing letter I wrote to you,
Was placed inthe mail today.
It held my name, address, and a single stamp.
The letter was thin,
Not much weight,
So the postman sent it off.
The you recieved my letter.
Carefully opening it,
Your eyes scanned its contents.
Those blue eyes widened,
Turning into endless seas of
Vast, unmistakeable knowledge.
"I love you,
I love you more than you will ever know
ever care to know,
And I just can't take it anymore.
I leave you with this letter,
In hopes one day you could love me the way
I love you."
That was the last piece of mail
That ever graced my mailbox.

I moved to another state,
And unbeknownst to me,
You followed.
You showed up at my door one day,
Lifted me in your arms,
And kissed me softly on the lips.
"I love you,
More than you will ever know,
ever care to know." |
