    dotsWish Upon a Stardots

    Silent melodies fill the air
And whisper to me from afar
    Hushéd secrets wink and dance
Shining fair, they fill my dreams
Of fate, of chance- of destiny.

    Love succumbed is grace defined
As gold may be of sunshine wrought
E'er prepared for grace come true
Without a thought will run in chase
    Flying away carelessly
    There it goes:
    My love, astray.

Trust enslaved is hope gone blind
As faith, when burdened, becomes frail
    Seeking light and joy until
Passion pales and yet doubt fades
    And follows obediently
    Here it is:
    My trust, to stay.

Fear lies with hate and doubt entwined
    Forever feeding on weary souls
'Til some brave hero stands to fight
And battles on with heart and mind
    He beckons me urgently
    It was lost:
    My fear, that day

    Heaven's lights, a treasured map
To those adventurous enough to seek
And yet perhaps, the courageous are
    Merely servants, small and meek
    Gazing upwards faithfully
    To that single star:
    It shall guide the way.
