Description:

For Tim...

I remember your smile…
And the touch of your hand…
Your gentle soft voice…
And you laugh…our sweet Tim.
You were too beautiful for this world…
For this sometimes ugly place…
But wherever you were…
You filled it with grace.

I know you’re not gone…
I know you’re around…
Watching over all of us…
Not making a sound…

But I see you in the hills as the sun rests on them…
And I see you in the stars of the dark night sky…
And I’ll see you in heaven when it’s my turn to die.

I'm sorry for the loss of your friend, but instinctively I feel that this was very healing. And if you can look at the sky and dream, your loved one is there.

We can be anywhere we choose to be, if they think it so. And I've come to believe that love keeps us in the waves of her motion,
riding heart to heart, right in always, always land.

I remember your smile…
And the touch of your hand…
Your gentle soft voice…
And you(r) laugh…our sweet Tim.
You were too beautiful for this world…( a striking description)
For this sometimes ugly place…
But wherever you were…
You filled it with grace.

I know you’re not gone…
I know you’re around…
Watching over all of us…
Not making a sound…

I understand using the elipses for the idea to continue and thoughts of Tim to be with those who knew him. And while that is a lovely tribute these lines make perfect sense without them. Maybe you would want to make a choice as to where you want them.

But I see you in the hills as the sun rests on them…
And I see you in the stars of the dark night sky…
And I’ll see you in heaven when it’s my turn to die.

I love the way you've taken Mother Nature as your solace and am image of where he lies now. It's just truth, all of us together forever, yes, telepathy does exist and always has.

Beautiful work, I look forward to seeing more of you soon.

Nan

So, so ineffably sad...a wonderful poem that might move the heart of a stone-cold statue...simple and to the point...almost wistful at times...very ably and very deftly done piece of poetry...bravo...bravo...Michael
