       love, what else?

Make the font bigger!! Double Spacing Back to recent posts.

    Sorrow, wrapped up
    In me like cocooned
    Covers. I curl
    My tiny fingers,
    Around the silk trim,
    Lifting and letting
    All the light in.

    Go away!
    I grab the fray
    With my hand,
    Engulfing myself
    With the heated breath
    Of the morning after.
    I dont want to live
    today, I want to keep
    all the cold locked in.

    I lay there, all wrapped
    Up in my sorrow. Sunlight
    Has never seen, such
    A frightened enemy.
    Rain, rain, I pray
    For rain to fall
    Upon this
    Sunshiny city. On
    This internally damp day.
    Rain would make this all

I could lay here in my
Pity, bathe in all my gloom.
    Never leave my room,
    Cry, cry, cry, until
    I feel it has all
    Drained from beneath
    This sin, which dirties
    My skin, but,
    I did
    nothing wrong.
    For to love, was supposed
    To mean I was strong.
    Yet, here I am,
    The epitome of weakness,
    Holding it all in
    For so long. And now
    Letting it all out
    To the fabric
    Of this song of
    Mourning and deep
    Deep, self-loathing.
