Measure up son, you'll soon be recruited
For that war you know nothing about
And never wanted to be a part of.
With their politics, they'll rip away your freedom,
And take you into their grasp in a second,
Because you're
Young
Strong
and
Unwilling.
First they'll instill a sense of worthlessness in you,
Rip away your shreads of dignity
And let you lie face down in the dirt.
Then they will build up your self-confidence,
Tell you you're a hero
And a great asset to your nation.
But you're only infantry.
As soon as you get out of boot,
There will be ten more to take your place.
Measure up son, you were recruited
For that war you know nothing about
And never wanted to be apart of. |
