To begin with,
The Grammatical mistakes :
It should be"
"A best friend'll help you move on
When you feel you just cannot
A best friend will let you sleep in a bed
While they sleep on a cot."
( 2nd stanza);
also...it should be:
"A best friend knows what to do
Whenever you are sad
A best friend will help you out
Whenever you are mad."
Now, these are suggestions that could make the meter of the poem a bit better...I think the phrase "A best friend" is a bit too repetitive.
You could have this:
" A best friend always keeps your secrets
And makes you laugh at a simple joke
A best friend'll make you feel better
When you're heart's completely broke"
....that's a few of them for this long long poem.
