    dotsYou stole my innocence.dots

I should've known better then to fall in love,
but I was just a young teen,
Stuck in between what's right and wrong.
In my blindness I thought you loved me too,
only to see that, that was untrue.
The thing you wanted from me was the only thing I still had.
Dealing with 10 minutes of pain mixed with pleasure,
Just to find your love didn't measure.

    Painfully I figured out,
that guys aren't always what they seem to be.
I'm older and wiser and since, and then moved on with my life,
But that still doesn't change the fact that you selfishly stole away my innocence.

I don't know if you do this...But if you keep a privite box/folder some place for you,for your eyes only.Star writing your deeper every day thoughts down.Save them in your"For My Eyes only" spot.Review them now and then.Save whatever...through away whatever.
That special place will hold your poems of the futher.

    Good job on this one.

I must say that was a very good poem. I liked it. You did a great job at describing different levels that go into a relationship.
