Description:

I don't believe that we have a god that's looking out for us all. Actually, I'm not even sure what it is that believe anymore. I'm angry, upset, and frustrated about god.
All this poem means is that I want that comfort and feeling of having someone to take away the pain I've endured and to turn my life into something great. But it's an imaginary wish because what I'm wishing for can never be a reality.

It's only a wish

Imaginary wish, my heart conceals
show me the path to life
take away the feelings that I feel
pain and sorrow
disappear in the shadows
taking with you
everything else I've come to know

Imaginary wish, my heart conceals
show me the future
all the feelings I will feel
joy and happiness
appear in front of me
bringing with you
all the good I can't see

This reads very much as a prayer. The appeal is to something outside oneself, a higher power. It evokes belief or at least the possibility.

It is the door to hope.

I think I know what you mean, or maybe I don't. I'm not sure. What I'm sure about is that I really liked your poem, since the first line. It's so beautifully written.

Your poem means something to me, maybe different from what it was meant to be. I don't know. Sometimes I feel like so locked up in the pain and sorrow, and all I want is to know if someday it will be so different, and so beautiful. But I can't see that because right now I'm in such a bad place.

I don't know if that's a good explanation. But anyways, I would like to know what it really means. So, if you have time, please let me know.

I don't think I can choose one favorite part because I like it entirely. Maybe this one:

appear in front of me
bringing with you
all the good I can't see
