everything is ephemeral. enjoy it while it lasts... ur bound to lose it someday.

the glory of nature...

picturesque rain
the dark, deep clouds
rhythmic water
spilling from the heavens

rumbling thunder
like powerful roars
a brilliant applause
divine heralds hail

shrill lightening
snaking across the skies
shades of pink and purlple
orchestrated by angels

but the sun will glare
and heat will scorch...
a magical reality lost
and the glory of nature will fade

First, I didn't really like the topic. That's my choice, and it's your choice to believe it, I get that:)

For the poem, I would've liked to see longer lines. That would've helped explain things better, because first, you have this nice picture of a thunder and lightening storm. Then it goes to saying how the sun will eventually come out, but it makes it sound like a bad thing. Like the sun is going to ruin the earth, when it gives life to everything.

I don't know, I just didn't connect with it...
