Frost fingers forming Scratching at the windowpanes Cold is coming now Still Silence, White Night Broken by your misty breath Cherry noses touch Silver shining moon Sparkling in your bright-black eyes Seeing through my soul Cold is coming now Warning wind is whispering Hold me in your hands Fires flame inside Know love outlasts the winter Sleep safe my dearest. |
I love the way you put it. I saw it an odd way my first read over, but I like the way I saw it. I saw it like summer is your dearest per say. And no matter how long winter is that summer will be there for you. I loved it, nothing needs changing for my vote.| Posted on 2006-12-24 00:00:00 | by djtswing | [ Reply to This ] | this did put a differant spin on the usual winter-time feelings.. | Yet the more you read, and think about it.. it does an excellant job at describing the winters I remember in New England.. Cold, bitter, Bone chilling.. months. It was a great read. | Posted on 2006-12-22 00:00:00 | by Pprophet | [ Reply to This ] | Very nice. Mysterious but not quite, it's written very enchantingly. Actually sort of makes me like winter. The words are, I think, a unique style. Pretty sure it's perfect the way it is, too. Bravo! | | Posted on 2006-12-15 00:00:00 | by SouthernState | [ Reply to This ] | |
