    dotsMy christmasdots

    Hangin' up the decorations,
    riggin' up the joyus lights,
laughing as i watch the cat,
while with a bauble he madly fights,

The fresh scent of christmas tree,
and baking, greet my frozen nose,
as i sit by the fire side,
defrosting my frosted hands and toes,

I hear my mum a singin',
    christmas carols joyously,
as she hangs up the candy canes,
    on our beautiful festive tree,

I sit and wrap my presents,
    to family and friends,
glad that christmas time has come,
round to meet us once again,

And in the hustle and the bustle,
Of all thats left to make or do,
i thought i'd sit and say a little,
    christmas prayer just for you,

I hope that you enjoy this season,
more than any that've come before,
and i wish you will experience,
all the joy in the world, and more.

Merry Christmas everyone, i hope you all enjoy it and have a wonderful new year too (don't forget to make a new years wish, you never know, this year it might come true)

Lively and festive, no doubt about it! It certainly captures the spirit .... some good rhyme here ... neatly put together with pretty good meter as well .... not much more one could ask for in a Christmas poem! Bravo! ... Bravo! ... Michael
and a very MERRY CHRISTMAS to you and yours as well! ... Michael
