And it was you that made smile but also cry...


As I sliced my skin
With a sharp blade
I started to fall
And light started to fade

I've lost myself in darkness
And dark thoughts entered my mind
But I lived without crying
Even though people was unkind

Darkness took me over
And blood started to pour
But I cried no tears
And my arm was never sour

I looked at people's smiles
And their heads up high
Then I looked at the ground
And still didn't cry

The day you first looked at me
Was the day I finally smiled
And the day I looked up high
With my heart going wild

But my smile didn't last
And it was you that made me cry
You said you loved me
But I guess it was a lie
