    Description:
My dad and I love Alice in Wonderland and he wanted me to write a poem like it. The original was written backwards so you could only read it if you held it up to a mirror!

Try to riddle who I am
You take one guess and let it pass
But as you look, it's only me
The girl within the looking glass
Behind the glass, what is this place?
With raging streams and seas of sand
    Reason can no longer be
    Now gone away from Wonderland
    Nonsense is the only rule
The sane are mad, the shadows talk
    Wall-less windows, knobless doors
And keys that never had a lock
You may find you like it here
Though nothing will be as you planned
If you wish, step through the glass
    And then return to WOnderland

Creative idea! I'm a big fan of Lewis Carrol, too. Very whimsical but thoughtful, and a joy to read indeed.
    Best wishes,
    Shadow

"Nonsense is the only rule" ...You may imagine how much I like this line.

The waves of a real artist are "running" throught your enigmatic mind. A question, an answer... an invitation that I will sure follow.

This is a really nice piece.I also am a fan of Alice in Wonderland and the madness of her dreamworld. The poem is nicely balanced,it reads really smoothly and the rhyming is good also. One of the best poems I've read on here for quite some time.
