As l sit here sipping my wine on Christmas Eve and wondering what the day will give
i find myself looking at the internet as the
constant ads for gifts passes me by.

Greatest gift to give for Christmas,Make her
happy on the day, give her xxx, she will love
you for it, make his day give him plus and thus
and he will smile and say thankyou and all for

for this amount of money. Those kids will be
so happy when they open that present and see the latest thingy magical modem and all
the day will be filled with happy sounds and

great joy, all for this amount of money. Money no object? then buy them this and they will be so happy. Fed up with socks this year?. Why not give them sweet substabce and

shiny paper so useless by January yet they
will enjoy the moment so much. Not one
mentioned the greatest gift of Christmas.
Given free with great joy and love, no

coloured paper, no glitzy music or shameless
over the top slick ads, just a baby born in a
stable with a manger as a bed, with his mother and father looking on as they all

gathered to see the joy and the salvation
that was the saviour of the world. No money
could buy that moment yet none was asked for and the gift is forever, will never fade or

break. No ad man will forget that religious thing to sell his thingy wotsit at one exclusive sale price. All the world can rejoice
in its great beauty and love and Christmas

once again has meaning and joy and fellowship that no other time gives so freely.
All rejoice in the day and while some do not
remember why they celebrate, others do in

loud or silent prayer and carols and good cheer. So take away the glitz and give me the
true message, the price? nothing. So i pass it on to you and wish you a Merry Christmas always.
