A moment past, the shadow's essence,
    Is floating in my mind.
Thought endless, flawless is his presence,
    Still decadence will find.

A present moment, view so random -
    Too dark again, a dream.
    A mystery, unspoken, seldom,
    And my evil pulse within.

A moment yet to be. Utopic,
    A twilight swimming in forever
A night becomes a favourite topic,
A day - fades to a sad, sad never...

    And moment after moment, seeking
The seconds lost in time unseen
    As siren voices, deadly, speaking:
    Eternity is still my dream.

The feeling i'm getting here is that you had a moment in time with someone and it was as perfect as can be, but something happened and the moment will never come back again. I must say it was a deep poem that gets me thinking.
