I'm married to the sound
Of love and hate
And to the high pitch squeal
Over the P.A.
To the smell of whiskey
Leather and nickel
Even the bodies that reek like a pickle
I'm married to the taste
Of complimentary beers
Cheap vodka, sweat ,blood and tears
To a humid Texas gravel torn road
Lizards bask as a stormshattered
Van hauls more than just a heavy load
To an Ice slicked deathrap
Highway through the snow
And the traveling circus
Risking all to get to the show
I'm married to the pain
With it's heroin-like stain
And to the adrenaline from
Those that make it all worth
This streched out, pin cushion
Locomotive of a heart
Till death do us part
