The night rolls around
I hear the rustling of the trees
Wolves howl
All animals fall asleep
The night rolls around
The moon shines bright
Little elves sing a song of light
I hear it in my ear
The night rolls around
Time for little children to dream
I think this is a fine poem, short, snappy and very nifty...(one suggestions: the line "I hear it in my ear"...perhaps you could change that line? as some may wonder where else you might hear something other than in your ear...) fine poem... bravo ... bravo ... michael
