After you lose someone that meant so much to you...you go through each day, and you're living, but it's not the same. And...sometimes it's just hard to know how to deal with things after we lose someone...after they literally meant everything to us.

    dotsAfter Himdots

    Fingers to my lips,
    Blow kisses to the stars,
Close my eyes, clasp my hands,
Send a prayer to my Lord.
    Please take care of Daddy,
And keep my Mama on your mind.
    Bless my litte brother,
    And also please know this,
I have only one desired wish.
    He is my only love.
As much as I want it all,
Good Lord, I'm only After Him.

    Miles between our bodies,
    With inches between our hearts,
    We overcame every obstacle,
    Fought off the doubt,
And continuously found our way back,
    To each other.
In his arms I found my safety,
    In his eyes my solace,
And in his heart, my life.
    No matter where he was,
    I waited for my love,
Good Lord, I was only After Him.

Undo the clasp around my neck,
Push those letters further into the box,
    Turn picture frames face down,
Smile to hide all the pain,
Just forget him, that's what they say.
    Start a new life,
    Find out who you are,
    But our love defined me,
In our love lied my everything,
    And God help me,
    I'm lost and I'm drowning,
Help me go on this life,
    In my life,
    After Him.

It was beautiful and breath taking...sad and heart felt with the depth from which it was written .

I'll say that my heart goes out to you...as we've all had loss and have felt such pain and sorrow...yet none of these words help...do they?
I know, yet what can one say...
    'it will get better'
cause it's not always true...some times the pain stays fresh forever.
'You'll see, just put it away and you'll forget'
    again not always true.
So I'll say again...some of us can understand.

I hope time does heal your heart enough to smile at the stars and laugh like the wind.
