its what i had for you
when you left you took more than what you came with
didn't look back
while i was looking on

clutching on to what was left
holding on tight
remembering sweet nothings
they way we used to talk all night

that glow you used to have
when my eyes were fixated on you
has now become dim
are you really happy?

you were every thing to me
my smile when i was down
you were my warmth when i was cold
now you only make me with that i could drown

drown in my pain
suffocate in this sorrow
why couldn't you take this with you
you took every thing else....

This was written very well. I liked it very much, so did the people reading over my shoulder. Please don't delete this, I'd like to add it to my favs. It flowed well and was worded nicely. it reminds me of my ex boyfrined leaving me the same way. Keep up the awesome work, and I'll keep reading
