Just a couple of little things I wrote for my baby tonight.
They made her smile and she thinks I should share them.

dotsIf, a couple of daft 'unsdots

    If I were!

If I were a Genie I'd grant you all your wishes
If I were a God I'd answer your prayers
If I were the wind I'd supply you with air
but I am just a man who has not much to give
So I give you my all for as long as I live.

    If I believed in heaven
and the life of God above
Then heaven would be your embrace
and my God would be your love

    Yup, I'm smitten

Aw.... how simply adorable! There is nothing bad to say about this whatsoever, it's just lovely! Aw... this is so cute, this sounds like vows, and I especially like this stanza.
    "If I believed in heaven
and the life of God above
Then heaven would be your embrace
and my God would be your love"

So totally and completely adorable, and emotion filled. Great job! Squee! This makes my night...or morning... ahh! after midnight!
    Be blessed,

Ha, very cute. I'm sure your girlfriend truly adores this. Now... if you ever pop the question, this would be a great poem to read out in front of your friends and relatives to show how you really feel, without all the pomp and overstated glamour which usually accompanies weddings...
