Description:

Your Lost

You say that you want her
You say that you love her
But you never show it
You left her hurting
Left her with bruises
Left her with cuts
When she refuses
You and your drama
You went to everyone
Including her mama
Trying to make it seem
As if she was the problem
Everybody knew you were the problem
You say you want to fix it
You want her back home
Told everybody that you were in the wrong
Now she's back home
Every thing is good
You're doing all the things that you should
The days go by
Things start to change
You go out come in and you're starting with your games
Starts with an argument
You're going back and forth
She goes into the room
Lye on the bed
You come in and grab her by the head
You're steady beating her
She is screaming
Knowing that she has a child
Inside of the house
The child comes out
Screaming and crying
Run to her neighbors
Because she doesnt know any better
She turns back around
And told you to stop
Leave her mother alone
You told her to shut up and knocked her to the floor
The mother gets angry
Mored than ever
She finally fights back
By the time you realized it
She was out of your life
But you come by
She is not hearing it
That is your lost
Because you should have realized what you had was good
And she's better off without you!

Ouch! a real downer, but that is how life is sometimes ... the first 25 or so lines of this poem had a great cadence to it, really ... if you ended the poem at the line "Thing start to change" you would have an excellent short poem --in my humble opinion-- however, over all it is a fine poem ... bravo ... bravo ...
