your mind, body and spirit
and in my eyes
I could actually see it

But you ran off
with some other guy
leaving me broken
and wanting to die

I couldn't understand
why you went away
after all the times
you promised to stay

My emotions grew wild
too much for me to bear
and the reason its so
is because you didn't care

  when i saw the title to this on your submissions, i just got this feeling like i didnt know what to expect but i really REALLY wanted to find out and for some reason it kind of-before i even read it-made my heart shudder...idk why...but i really liked it...if i'd written it i would've used different wording in places, but this is you. i would promise something but, after reading that, it would just seem cruelly ironic and misplaced...and you know how i feel about saying things like that. but i do know that i'll love you forever, no matter what happens, believe it or not. but you just called me so im gonna go so i can concentrate on you...oh...nvm...there you go...
you know, i love you so much it just makes me sad sometimes. me make me so happy that it makes me sad....does that make ANY sense at all? no? didnt think so...but that's how i feel.

  Isn't that just the worst feeling in the world?....Having someone promise to you the world...and they break every single one of those promises...leaving you to come to only one conclusion...they didn't care at all. Ya it's horrible to say..and it's horrible to think....but sometime's that's just how it feels. It leaves so many unanswered questions, and it's so much to take in, too much to bear as you wrote. I guess ya just have to focus on the good times...and really hope that at one time they did mean what they said...and that somewhere deep down..they really did care. Nice write. ~hailie~
