The shower stall makes me claustrophobic. I focus on the hot water hitting my back and dribbling off my bottom and down my thighs. I can feel my skin glowing red. Pushing my fists into my eyes, I rub them in hopes that what I see next is better than the moment before. Nope. I sigh defeatedly and take inventory of my current situation. I realize that there's really no reason for all this, as real as it seems.
Sometimes I wonder if I'm nearly half as crazy as I feel most of the time. |
