Still, dark, and sullen,
shifting pools of light
sad-eyed passing shades
flit empty in the night

tardy ring barren tills
to mammon's grave dread,.
Dawn comes obliquely then
push back chronicles' dead.

Make way the actors cry
we are needed fleet
wealth once more god
in the waking streets

where pupils roam
into school a second home?
Loved even less than their own,
sitting nameless,
empty-headed sham

I really like it. I cant say much to critique it, even though I wish I could. Wouldnt change a thing about the peice. I know exactly what you are talking about and its refreshing to find a poem at actually makes sense at first glance. Everything I have seen lately is way to confusing. So I want to say thank you for making this more simple. Really magnificent work.
