    -------------------------------------------

    The past two weeks
    Itís been nothing but
    Drinking...
    Smoking..
    School...
    Getting out of work..
    And the cycle repeats...
I've been ignoring these bold hurdles...
    Thinking that just maybe...
    Just maybe...
    When I awake tomorrow
No long under the influence of anything...
That these hurdles will have vanished...
But they have yet to decease...
    Those are still hanging around
    Growing bolder... and darker
    As time moves on...
And I believe itís finally hitting me...
I need to accept what has been done
I need to come to terms with reality
Once I have accomplished these tasks...
    All with run more smoothly...

Maybe it's just because I met you during all of this, but I really like this one. Such a short and sweet summary of what you've been dealing with. I especially like the way you turn and face it at the end! To summarize two weeks in 22 lines? That in and of itself made me smile.

Your description mentions it being too late to fix. Just remember, not everything is supposed to get fixed. That's what closure is... letting it stay broken. You can't spend your whole life trying to mend old wounds. You could miss out on so much! I guess that's the trick though. Knowing the difference...

The piece itself reads very well though (as all of your stuff does). You definitely have no trouble putting your thoughts into words! I think anybody can relate to your work. It is definitely universally enjoyable!

Thank you for sharing so much! I feel like I know you so much better. Write some more! I have run out of things to read!
